...and I press flowers for a living. My passion for flower art began 8 years ago inspired by the beautiful flora of Southern California. After countless walks with pockets full of nature finds, I began preserving tiny flowers in resin and creating mini enchanting landscapes. I founded Flora and the Sun jewelry brand in 2017.

When my partner and woodworker joined my studio in 2020, we expanded to preserving wedding bouquets and special occasion flowers in handcrafted frames and resin trays.

I now share the joyous experience of working with flowers with my community. I teach workshops across many venues- bringing people together to create beauty, feel connection and explore creativity.

You can find me at venues like SD Botanical Gardens, Carlsbad Flowerfields, Garden clubs, Community Centers, Art Galleries and Markets. I offer Private Retreats and Events as well.

Creating art with flowers is refreshingly simple compared to other art forms, allowing anyone to craft their own distinctive piece with ease, find tranquility in the process, and be delighted by the result.
